"Really enjoying lessons with Rob. He is a patient tutor and his passion for playing guitar comes through in his teaching. He is guiding me through the music at my pace and I am even planning studying grades in the future. I am 30 yr old and so happy I chose to learn as an adult, it's never too late, right!? I also think Rob's fees are good, particularly when you pay in a block and get the lessons slightly cheaper. Would highly recommend. :-)"

"Robert is a great teacher who has helped me become a better guitarist, broadened my horizons musically
and has also greatly improved my ability to read and understand music.
I would consider myself an intermediate guitarist who has substantial experience in playing live music,
however the three months of lessons I have received to date have greatly improved my ability and knowledge.
My finger picking, chord playing, use of little finger and speed have all improved whilst I have gained a deeper

"This may be the only place in Sheffield where you can learn to play classical guitar, but Robert's territory goes beyond that. He has mastered almost every style! As an international student in a foreign country, he gives me the best learning experience. Before I started learning, I was always worried that my poor English would become an obstacle in our communication. However, he was very patient and professional in teaching. I feel very lucky to be able to learn and communicate guitar knowledge with him, which may be my best memory of the UK!"
